Grand Marnier Cranberry Sauce

Grand Marnier Cranberry Sauce is a delicious make-ahead side dish for your Thanksgiving table.

  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 8 tablespoons fresh orange juice about 2 oranges
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur


  1. If using fresh oranges, remove the two tablespoons zest from one orange before slicing.

  2. Halve both oranges and squeeze to get 8 tablespoons of juice,

  3. Combine all ingredients in a large pot over very low heat, stirring occasionally.  Berries will start to pop.

  4. Refrigerate for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 1 month.  Thaw frozen cranberry sauce in the refrigerator for one day before serving.
