Oven Baked Salmon

Oven Baked Salmon is a no-fail way to make a delicious weeknight dinner that comes out perfect every time.

  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1 fennel bulb sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil or other fresh herbs
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Lay parchment paper on baking tray.

  3. Season fish on both sides with salt and pepper

  4. Place lemon slices and fresh herbs over fish.

  5. Scatter sliced vegetables over and around fish.

  6. Pour wine over fish and drizzle with olive oil.

  7. Place another piece of paper or foil over fish and crimp sides to seal.

  8. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

  9. Remove from oven.  Cut slit in packet to release steam.
