Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lbs. sirloin steak
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon peel
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 green onion sliced
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or broiler to 400 degrees.

  2. Place steak in plastic bag or baking dish.  

  3. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over steak.  Turn to coat steak in marinade.

  4. Close bag or cover dish and marinate in refrigerator for 2-4 hours.

  5. Drain into bowl to reserve marinade.

  6. Grill or broil steak, turning once, for 20-25 minutes or until it has reached the desired level of doneness.  During cooking, baste with marinade.

  7. Remove steak from heat and let it rest for 20 minutes.

  8. Slice thinly.
